Hwasa on wearing sexy outfits, “I have to take them off from head to toe when going to the bathroom”
The latest episode of SBS’s “Dolsing Fourman,” which aired on September 24th, featured Kim Wan-sun, Hwasa, and Kwon Eun-bi, the three sexy divas who shook the Korean music industry, showing off their witty remarks.
During the show, host Lee Sang-min mentioned Hwasa’s viral video, which drew much attention with her exceptional outfit and performance, was then released. Hwasa recalled the time, saying, “This was during the MAMA Awards.”
When asked, “Did you think that this stage would be this popular?” Hwasa said, “I didn’t really think much about it. I just wanted to do my best on the stage again at the time, but as soon as the stage was over, I kept getting calls from all over the place.”
When host Tak Jae-hoon said, “I don’t think she looks like how a regular Korean would look like,” Hwasa said, “I think I had that feeling especially more at that time.”
“People around me are surprised to see me in person. They thought I would be curvy, but I’m graceful and small,” she said, adding, “The elderly especially knew that my hips would be like this.”
Regarding sexy outfits and photos, Hwasa even said, “I don’t wear them when I don’t want to dress vaguely.” Lee Sang-min asked, “You usually wear tight clothes, right?”
“Because it is light on the stage. I dance a lot, and intensely from start to finish,” Hwasa said. “So I wear it a lot. This style is popular overseas.”
However, she had some difficulties with her outfit. She said, “I have to take it off from head to toe. I have to keep drinking water because I can’t get dry. That’s why I always want to go to the bathroom before going on stage.”
